ATOMOS - Remote 1.2.5

The ATOMOS - Remote app offers external controls for various ATOMOS devices, including the Shogun, Shogun Ultra, Shogun CONNECT, as well as all NINJA V models equipped with the ATOMOS CONNECT accessory or an AtomX SYNC module.

This application uses Bluetooth LE for wireless communication to execute remote configuration and operation tasks. It provides input options to choose the connection type, select gamma/EOTF, and adjust gamut settings. For monitoring purposes, AtomRemote allows control over playback, selection of dynamic-range settings, application of custom 3-D LUTs, and utilization of default color-space transformations. Output controls include options for 4K-to-HD downconversion and HDR output. Additionally, AtomRemote can initiate a range of image-analysis tools such as exposure and focus assistance in addition to starting and stopping recordings.

The ability to adjust these settings remotely proves advantageous in scenarios where accessing the rig is challenging or hazardous, such as when it's mounted out of reach as part of a "crash cam" setup or attached to a gimbal or stabilizer.
